Medical implants; including heart valves, regeneration of tissues, and many things to help humans to survive.

There are differents types of biomaterials as tehere are different uses, some types are:

Polymer based-biomaterial: polymer-based biomaterials have replaced other materials such as metals, alloys, and ceramics because of their low cost

Ceramic-based biomaterial: the bio-ceramics have certain properties such as stiffness, hardness, chemical stability, and wear resistance.

Hybrid biomaterial combinations: hybrid biomaterial combinations are a combination of naturally derived materials and synthetic materials.
